Crowne Plaza Hotel
The Crowne Plaza is located on the Yas Island, about half an hour from the frame of Abu Dhabi. The hotel is comfortable and soundproof with the products of the Syl line. It offers modern and stylish rooms equipped to meet the demands of a new generation of traveler seeking finesse and functionality at reasonable rates. It also has a swimming pool where you can admire the skyline of Abu Dhabi. SYLPRO product line has been used for sound insulation under parquet.
PROBLEM
Given the structural and technical character of the various floors, the designer had to solve the acoustic issue with an underfloor system that would also guarantee mechanical behavior according to the hotel's rigid standards.
SUGGESTED SOLUTION
The solution involves the use of a 4mm thick rubber mat with high density combined with a wooden floor. The possibility of dry laying has accelerated the operations.
RESULT
High acoustic comfort and mechanical stability made it possible to meet the standards and lower the maintenance costs of the flooring.
