The project involves upgrading the technology and infrastructure of the Milan-Rome high-speed rail line, with a particular focus on the Florence railway junction.
Requirement.
Upgrading the lines connecting to the Florence junction, one of the most important on the route, reducing noise and vibration impact near the city centre.
Suggested solution.
The design approved the use of the mat of the MATRACK 25 AVC 600 line to meet the requirements.
Result.
During installation, the mats were joined using STIK joint tape and Z-shaped protectors on the vertical heads. This method of application produced a highly insulated floating track system.
