The project involves the construction of the new Brescia-Verona-Padua high-speed/high-capacity railway line, which is part of the Milan-Venice high-speed/high-capacity axis. This line is of strategic importance at both national and European level.
Requirement.
Reducing vibrations caused by passing trains is essential, especially in sections close to urban centres.
Suggested solution.
The design approved the use of the under ballast mat of the MATRACK 20 AVC 600 line to meet the requirements.
Result.
The use of the mat reduced vibrations in the structure, improving the quality of life for those living near the line and reducing maintenance costs.
