The project involves the upgrading of the tramway along the Via Marina – Vespucci – Volta section, covering a length of 2.5 km, with the replacement of the existing paving.
Requirement.
When upgrading the section to make it safer for the creation of a new footpath and cycle path, the issue of vibration control came up.
Suggested solution.
On this project, an anti-vibration mat MATRACK 10 AVC 700 under concrete casting was used to minimise the transmission of vibrations to the surrounding urban areas.
Result.
The result achieved by the operation met the project requirements and reduced vibrations in neighbouring areas.
