An important project for Krakow residents is the construction of a railway viaduct to replace the standard road crossing on Rydla Street. Five railway viaducts will be rebuilt along the entire route and over 17 kilometres of track will be replaced.
Requirement.
Improving rail traffic safety and reducing the noise and vibration impact of the railway line near urban settlements.
Suggested solution.
The solution adopted involved the insertion of an under ballast anti-vibration mat MATRACK 20 AVC 600 to mitigate vibrations and noise in the surrounding ground.
Result.
The result achieved by the operation reduced vibrations and ballast maintenance costs.
